What does the SHA-256 draw record verify?
The SHA-256 fingerprint lets someone check whether a later entrant list matches the list used for the draw. The record also includes the time, pool size, draw ID, winners, and alternates. It is a transparent draw record, not a replayable proof of the browser's private random values.
Can I select multiple winners and backup winners?
Yes. Choose the number of main winners and optional alternates. Every position in a single draw is unique unless repeated source entries are intentionally kept in the entrant list.
Should I remove duplicate entries?
Turn on duplicate removal when every unique name or ticket should have one chance. Leave duplicates in place only when repeated lines intentionally represent extra entries or weighting.
Can I verify a draw hash later?
Yes. Open Verify Draw Hash, paste the exact entrant list and the expected SHA-256 fingerprint, then run the check. A match confirms that the list content produces the same fingerprint.
